Google Bans "Piracy Keywords" In Autocomplete

 

For All the torrent lover in Malaysia, Google Malaysia has decided to banned all the  autocomplete search for all the piracy keyword such as rapidshare, utorrent, bittorrent and all kind of torrent....here's I found some comments from TorrentFreak....

"All combinations of the word “torrent” are also completely banned. This means that “Ubuntu torrent” will not be suggested as a user types in Ubuntu, and the same happens to every other combination ending in the word torrent. This of course includes the titles of popular films and music albums, which is the purpose of Google’s banlist." -- TorrentFreak


Although this move isn't exactly world shaking, since the ban doesn't affect traditional Google search methods, some questions do arise upon closer scrutiny of the banned keywords.


"What is most surprising about the new filter is that the keywords appear to be picked arbitrarily. It includes BitTorrent clients such as uTorrent and Xunlei, but not BitComet and Vuze. While cyberlockers such as RapidShare and Megaupload are banned, prominent sites such as 4shared, HotFile and MediaFire are not.


In addition, all the names of popular torrent sites including The Pirate Bay are not included in Google’s banlist either. BitTorrent’s Simon Morris agrees that this is odd, to say the least." --TorrentFreak

But it all happen in google.com.my...you still can search the keyword in google.com...In my Office they already blocked all of this kind of stuff....nothing to be uploaded and downloaded...so frustrated.... 

AF9 bakal melabuhkan tirainya

SELEPAS bersiaran sebanyak lapan musim bermula 2003, program Akademi Fantasia Musim ke-9 (AF9) menjadi musim terakhir buat program realiti TV itu.

Pengurus Saluran Astro Ria, Azlin Reza Azmi berkata, program mencetus fenomena yang diadaptasi dari rancangan popular Le Academia dari Mexico itu terpaksa melabuhkan tirai kerana ingin memberi peluang kepada pelbagai program lain.

"Kami rasa sudah sampai masanya program Akademi Fantasia direhatkan buat selama-lamanya. Jadi program terakhir ini pastinya program yang terbaik dari musim sebelumnya.

"Kami akan bawakan pelbagai kejutan dan merangkumkan kembali nostalgia dari musim pertama hingga kelapan untuk paparan peminat setia AF musim terakhir ini," jelasnya semasa pengumuman sesi uji bakat AF9 di Restoran Delicious, Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur baru-baru ini.

Bagaimanapun, Azlin menafikan perkara itu disebabkan sambutan peminat terhadap program itu semakin berkurangan.

"Tamatnya program ini bukan kerana sambutan penyokong semakin kurang, kalau kita lihat setiap tahun program ini mempunyai pengikut tersendiri," katanya.

Azlin turut memberitahu AF9 ini merupakan musim terbaik dan menampilkan seorang pengetua terkenal di rantau Asia. Selain itu, mereka juga bakal menggunakan khidmat pengacara terkenal tanah air.

Ketika ditanya tentang nama komposer terkenal Indonesia, Erwin Gutawa yang disebut-sebut sebagai pengetua AF9, Azlin enggan mengulas perkara itu.

10. Find a beautiful wallpaper for your desktop resolution with Google images

Here’s how you do it:

1. Go to Advanced Image Search
2. Next to “Exact size” click on “Use my desktop resolution”. Then, next to “Content types”
   
3. select “Photo content.”
4. Enter some words. If you want to find cows, enter beautiful cows Let’s see the results:
